About Me
Iβm Nick, a Software Engineer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I build software that solves real problems and scales to meet them.
I started my career in 2017 after graduating from Nova Scotia Community College. Early on, I took ownership of a SaaS platform at a startup, leading its development from the ground up. That role gave me a strong foundation in software architecture, PHP, SQL, and JavaScript, and the product grew to serve tens of thousands of users.
From there, I joined an international ed-tech company, where I progressed from individual contributor to engineering lead. I managed a team responsible for the systems behind animated educational content β from creation through delivery. That experience sharpened my approach to process management, quality standards, and building for scale.
Currently, Iβm working in the XR space, building a platform that enables businesses to manage AR/VR devices, deploy content, and configure user experiences. The potential for this technology in training and education is significant, and itβs rewarding to be part of shaping it.
I value working on problems that matter, with people I can learn from. If youβd like to connect, feel free to reach out.
